At bedtime, I get my kids going with pajamas and such by telling them that the sun has gone to bed and so they need to go to bed, too.
Well, the other day, it was a little later than usual, and Youngest looked outside, then looked at the clock, then ran up to me, clearly very concerned. He said "Mommy! The sun is already asleep! Did he forget to brush his teeth?"
I bit back a laugh, then told him that I was sure the sun remembered to brush his teeth, and that Youngest had better get going on his own teeth. He said okay, then ran up the stairs.

Cute. They're always so quick to point out when someone else hasn't brushed their teeth, picked up their toys, etc...
Yes they are! And they're professional foot-draggers when it's time for *them* to do it. :)
